Cemetery City is Brad Mirman’s second book after “Street Life.” It documents the hundreds of people who live behind the walls of the cemeteries of Manila -- some have lived there all their lives. Although they live in a cemetery this book is really a celebration of life and a testament to the ingenuity of the people who live there. Behind the safety of the walls the inhabitants have created a city within a city -- a place that is not somber and dark, but it is actually an explosion of life. Through the lens of his camera Brad has captured the spirit of the people who live there and given us a glimpse into a world that most of us have never seen before.
Cemetery City is a first-run, limited edition run of only a few hundred copies. Each one is signed by Photographer Brad and publisher Estevan Oriol.
